Our Personal Care Services are available to help your loved one with a variety of “hands on” tasks. We refer a compassionate, trained caregiver to help with personal needs involving bathing, eating, bathroom use and general hygiene like brushing teeth. This includes bed baths when necessary, and getting dressed after baths.
We understand the importance of maintaining their dignity while assisting with these very personal matters. Sometimes having assistance from outside the family with personal care services allows your loved one to maintain a greater sense of dignity.
Grooming, shaving, hair and nail care and hygiene in general often diminish over time as people age, and helping to take care of these basic needs can stave off rashes, disease or infection that may otherwise set in over time. Personal care assistance can help ensure basic hygiene needs are met even as a loved one’s ability to perform these tasks diminishes over time, especially in regards to general skin care.
